ORIGIN SERIES 01
A little brightness.
A little depth.
The Composer brings dark chocolate, mango and peach together in a rounded, medium-bodied cup. This Colombian single-origin coffee is roasted medium—a thoughtful place to begin your daily ritual.
The Composer begins with a community as well as a place. Farmers formed Café del Macizo in Planadas, Tolima, in 2003 to share knowledge and resources. The coffee is washed and sun dried, then roasted medium for a rounded cup with dark chocolate, mango and peach notes. That meeting of fruit and chocolate makes it a thoughtful daily coffee—familiar enough for breakfast, with detail worth returning to.

Why it belongs in the collection
The Composer is the fruit-and-chocolate reference point in the Origin Series, sitting between the deeper Indonesian profiles and the softer Brazilian cup.
Brewing suggestion
For drip coffee, begin with 1 part coffee to 16 parts water and a medium grind. Taste it black first; a small amount of milk emphasizes the chocolate side.
