Trying: The Harvest - Our Natural Pumpkin Spice Coffee
This morning, I made The Harvest and a bowl of Boricua-style cornmeal with a touch of cinnamon. It was a simple breakfast I enjoyed enough to share here.
I brewed the pumpkin-spice coffee in my basic drip coffee maker using regular grind. That detail matters: this was the everyday machine beside my espresso setup, not an espresso recipe for The Harvest. A regular coffee maker, ground coffee, and my Disney mug were the setup for this cup.
The breakfast beside it
The cornmeal was warm and creamy, with a little cinnamon over the top. For me, it worked well with The Harvest's cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and ginger flavor direction. I am describing the breakfast I made, rather than giving a tested cornmeal recipe or promising everyone will experience the pairing the same way.
The coffee, the food, and the kitchen belong to the same story. A cup does not need elaborate equipment to become a moment you want to repeat.
A separate note: The Island as espresso
I also tried The Island, our Bali Blue medium-dark coffee, in the espresso machine separately. I liked the balance of the shot I made: it had depth and flavor without excessive bitterness for my taste. It was not the coffee brewed for the pumpkin-spice breakfast.
That is a personal result from my own equipment and preparation. Another machine or recipe can change the cup, so use the product's information and your equipment guidance when trying it yourself.
What I would make again
The Harvest with cinnamon-topped Boricua cornmeal is a breakfast pairing I would happily return to. The Island is a separate espresso experiment I was pleased with. Keeping those notes distinct makes them more useful than combining both into a single perfect-brew story.
