Choose a direction first

Fall coffee does not need to mean an elaborate sweet drink. Begin with a flavored coffee brewed on its own, then decide whether milk or sweetener improves the cup for you.

Seven options

Coffee Flavor direction Roast
The Harvest Pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, clove Medium
The Spiced Note Warm cinnamon and toasted hazelnut Medium
The Southern Toasted pecan, brown sugar, pastry richness Medium
The Velvet Buttery caramel Medium
The Nutcracker Toasty hazelnut Medium
The Campfire Marshmallow, dark chocolate, graham cracker Medium
The Turtle Chocolate, caramel, hazelnut Medium-dark

Make a useful comparison

Pick two directions rather than buying everything at once. Use the same dose and water ratio, taste at similar temperatures, and add equal amounts of milk if desired. A sampler can be useful, but check its current contents rather than assuming it contains all seven coffees here.

Flavor names are not ingredient lists

These are flavored coffees. A dessert name does not prove that the named food is physically present or establish allergen suitability. Use the individual product information for ingredients and dietary questions.

For a simple seasonal serving

Brew a small filter cup, taste it plain, and add a little warm milk if you enjoy it. Keep the coffee recognizable before adding toppings. If making an iced version, account for dilution from melting ice.

The best seasonal choice is the cup you will want again after the first photograph—not necessarily the most decorated drink.
