What without syrup means here

The Harvest is pumpkin-spice flavored coffee. Brewing it without syrup means no syrup is added to this recipe; it does not mean the coffee is unflavored. Its profile includes cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove.

A small refrigerated batch

Combine 60 g coarsely ground The Harvest with 600 g cold drinking water in a clean covered vessel. Stir until the grounds are wetted. Refrigerate for 12–18 hours, then filter thoroughly into a clean container.

Taste a small portion and dilute with water or milk as desired. This 1:10 starting ratio is adjustable; the final serving strength depends on how much liquid and ice you add.

Keep the recipe repeatable

Record the steep time and dilution. If the serving is too strong, add water before changing the next batch. If it is harsh, reassess grind and contact time. A longer steep is not automatically better.

Serve with restraint

Pour over ice and add a small amount of milk if you want a softer texture. Taste before sweetening. Any milk or sweetener has its own ingredients and nutrition; the coffee's flavor name does not describe the whole finished drink.

Handle it as a fresh drink

Use clean equipment, keep the brew refrigerated, and make modest batches. Follow appropriate food-handling guidance rather than assuming a homemade cold brew has a guaranteed shelf life. Do not leave a milk-containing serving warm for an extended period.

Another way to enjoy The Harvest

For a hot serving, use your usual drip brewer and the appropriate grind. Will's breakfast notes describe that simpler preparation with cinnamon-topped Boricua cornmeal.
