What proffee means
Proffee is shorthand for protein coffee. It can be made with a ready-to-drink protein shake or a powder mixed according to its directions. The coffee itself does not become a high-protein product unless the added ingredient provides that protein.
The simplest cold version
Combine 120 ml cooled brewed coffee with 120 ml of a ready-to-drink protein beverage, or adjust the proportion to taste. Serve over ice in a clean glass. The protein amount depends on the beverage and quantity used; read its label rather than borrowing a number from another recipe.
Using a powder
Prepare the powder according to its own instructions first, then add cooled coffee gradually. Different powders mix differently and may clump in hot liquid. Do not assume every protein product is suitable for the same temperature or preparation.
Keep additions visible
Milk, sweeteners, syrups, and flavored powders all affect the finished drink. If you are tracking nutrients, calculate from the actual products and quantities. A scoop is not a universal weight, and a coffee flavor note is not a nutrition value.
Caffeine still matters
Adding protein does not remove coffee's caffeine. Serving size, coffee preparation, and other sources across the day remain relevant. Use decaf if you prefer it, remembering it still contains some caffeine.
Choose for convenience and taste
This recipe is not a substitute for individualized nutrition advice or a claim about appetite, muscle gain, or fat loss. The useful goal is a drink that mixes well and fits your preferences. Prepare it with clean equipment and serve promptly, following the protein product's storage guidance.
